Optimize Display Settings in Windows XP for better performance

Windows XP can lookattractive but displaying all the visual items can waste system resources.
To optimize:
1. Right click on 'My Computer' and select properties.
2. Select 'Advanced' Tab
3. Click 'Settings' in "Performance' box
4. Under 'Visual Effects' tab select 'Adjust to best Performance'
5. Save the settings. Probably it would need a restart

Now all the extra Visual effects are disabled and your system would much faster. But your system will appear like win98
