Lately we have been talking a lot about Facebook and its avatars for different platforms like the iphone operating system and the Android operating system. All these apps are getting updated at frequent intervals and they are getting new features added up to them. So how could the Facebook app for Windows 7 phone had stayed behind and for that reason an update has been releases for this platform as well. The new Facebook version 1.1 which is the first official update for the app will be having features like photo tagging and places. Both these features work well with the windows 7 phone platform as we already have third party applications doing the same task for some time now. If you still do not believe in sharing your profile information with those third party applications then this is a good news for you since you can use these features with the official app now.
I think that Facebook.inc should consider adding features like Facebook chat because it is one of the most important aspects of a social networking portal. Anyway something is better than nothing and it is better if we have a fully functional application rather than getting annoyed with a lot of bugs and crashes, so I hope that after this first official update we will see another update very soon with all the features that users with other operating systems enjoy on Facebook.
